Our chapter dues are used for various philanthropic activities, including supporting the Delta Delta Delta Foundation and the South Bay Alumnae Panhellenic Association who offer the following scholarships.

Tri Delta Foundation | South Bay Panhellenic

Delta Delta Delta Foundation

As part of its mission to assist Tri Delta and her members, the Tri Delta Foundation offers undergraduate and graduate scholarships to collegians and alumnae each year.

Scholarships are awarded based on chapter and campus involvement, community service, academic achievement and financial need.

Applications for the 2010-2011 academic year are now available. Application materials must be in one envelope and postmarked by March 01, 2010.

South Bay Alumnae Panhellenic Association

Proceeds from the Spring Benefit go toward scholarships for local South Bay girls and women.  Information and applications are available at www.southbaypanhellenic.com

  • High School Scholarships: Requirement: senior girls attending a high school in the South Bay. 
  • Collegiate Scholarships -  undergraduate and graduate students are eligible. 

Requirements: must be an active member of a National Panhellenic Conference sorority who also:

  • 1) is a past or current resident of the Los Angeles South Bay area;
  • 2) attended a high school in the South Bay;
  • 3) attend a university in the South Bay (CSUDH); or
  • 4) are dependents of a South Bay resident.

 

Tri Psi Scholarships and Loans

The sorority for Tri Delta mothers offers scholarships and loans to members of Tri Delta. 

Tri Psi awards $1000 scholarships to members of Tri Delta who are entering their junior year in college. Only one applicant from each chapter may apply for a Tri Psi Scholarship. The deadline for applications is March 5, 2010

Tri Psi offers loans to Tri Deltas who are entering or who are already enrolled in graduate studies. The $3,000 loans are offered at a 2% annual interest rate and must be repaid within five years.
